Policy

The information on this page is subject to change without prior notice and will serve as the final policy above all others. This policy will be considered part of any Ebay auction or web purchase it is linked to and not subject to question from buyer. StewartM reserves the right to make additions to or omissions from this policy at any time without advance notice to buyer before or after any purchase.

General Information
1. Buyer is responsible for any sales tax due on this purchase and/or any royalty due on any copywrited material used in development.
2. Buyer is solely responsible for and answerable to any laws pertaining to legal backup copies of their legal video property.
3. Buyer must send in tapes, disks, slides, photos, or negatives within 30 days or forfeit any payment made.
4. Transfers are NTSC only, no PAL or SECAM.
5. Turn around time is subject to date your order is received, number of items in your order, equipment availability, and return delivery time.
6. Circumventing Ebay and Paypal to avoid fees will result in the forfeiture of your property till proper purchase and payment methods have been satisfied as described here.
7. Tape transfers are not tape restorations.
8. Tracking adjustments may be made during playback to improve output and may appear on your disk.
9. Alternate transfer equipment and methods may be used to transfer tapes and can result in different menu styles and looks of DVD menus.
10. StewartM Transfers reserves the right to choose the method of tape transfer.
11. Tapes are numbered by removable sticky note in the order they are processed. Tapes not clearly labeled will be labeled with their numerical order.
12. Tapes not labeled in english may be labeled in numerical order.
13. Incorrect spelling on labels is not subject to refund. Disc must be returned to be corrected.
14. DVD backup copies of your copyrighted tapes may be randomly time\date stamped to help prevent illegal secondary sales.
15. Buyer must supply external hard drive and software for tape to drive transfers unless agreed to at time of auction.
16. Slide images may include rounded corners or edges to include as much of your image as practical.
17. Slides must be standard 35mm.
18. Super slides and transparencies may electronically trimmed (not physically cut) to be scanned by our equipment.
19. Photos max. size is 8.5 x 11.
20. Slides will be scanned at the rate of 100-250 per day and/or as time permits.
21. Slide scans may or may not include streaks, marks, or visible dust from scanning equipment.
22. Slide scanning is not slide restoration.
23. Slide scans may contain dust, dirt, hair, fibers, or scratches not removed by air dusting or software removal.
24. Buying from or selling to this user allows this seller/buyer free use of your email address.
25. DVD copies are one copy per one DVD not one copy of all DVD's.
26. Some tapes may not be rewound to reduce wear on our equipment.
27. We do not keep/retain copies of your tapes, photos, slides, negatives, or discs.
28. We do not clean your slides before scanning. Air dusting will NOT remove all visible marks.
29. StewartM is not responsible for loss or damage to your tapes, slides, photos, discs, or negatives while in route to or from us, while on premises, or in our possession.

Feedback/Bidding
1. As outlined by eBay, "Your bid is a contract - Place a bid only if you're serious about buying the item. If you are the winning bidder, you will enter into a legally binding contract to purchase the item from the seller." Unpaid items/auctions will be reported.
2. By placing your bid you agree that you have read, understand and accept all content in this auction (i.e., Shipping, Payments, Terms & Conditions, Special Issues, Warranty & Return, and Feedback policies.) as well as those of StewartM.Com
3. All transfer and other purchases must be made through Ebay when found on Ebay.
4. Seller/buyer feedback will only be left in response to yours.
5. Feedback extortion will be reported.

Item/Transfer Sale/Returns
1. Item(s) is/are used and known to be in working order and is/are sold as is.
2. Returns can/will not be accepted on items.
3. Item(s)/services must be paid for WITHIN FIVE (5) DAYS of purchase. If not, an unpaid item report will be filed.
4. You must contact seller for non-operational transfer replacement before returning your transfer(s).
5. All original transfer disks and cases must be returned intact within 30 days of the original sale to receive your free replacement.
6. Failure to make payment in full within 30 days will forfeit your property.
7. Forfeited property may be disposed of at the discretion of StewartM.com and no money will be refunded.
8. Failure to send in or relinquish possession of tapes, slides, photos, and/or negatives purchased to be transferred are not subject to refund.

Shipping
1. We ship only to your Paypal address in the U.S. lower 48 states AK, HI, and PR.
2. Item(s) are shipped/received USPS mail only to our PO box. No FedEx or UPS unless agreed to in advance.
3. Orders are shipped media mail 2-9 business day service.
4. Items will be shipped to your Paypal address only.
5. No local pickup or delivery.
6. Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded.

Payments/Refunds
1. All payments must be made through Paypal.
2. Payments by check of any type, M.O. of any type, or cashiers check of any type, will delay shipment by 24 hours - 15 days till your payment is cleared by our local bank.
3. This seller reserves the right to refuse your business and refund your payment minus fees at any time for any reason.
4. No refund will be given on tapes that arrive in poor condition, play poorly, track poorly, may be blank, broken, or do not play in our equipment. They will be processed like all others and all charges will apply.
5. No refunds will be given on scans of photos, slides, or negatives due to the nature of the product and/or results.
6. S/H reimbursement will not exceed $2.50 (two dollars and fifty cents - dollars U.S.) unless agreed to ahead of time.
7. All refunds will be issued through Paypal only regardless of payment method. If you do not have a Paypal account, you will not be issued a refund until you do. No exceptions.
8. Requesting your order be returned before processing is complete will not be subject to refund of any kind.
9. Refunds must be processed within 30 days of purchase and may take up to 30 days.

Email/Messages/Private Auctions
1. Private auction will run for 3-7 days only unless otherwise requested.
2. All emails sent to and from StewartM.com are the property of StewartM.com and may be posted without prior notice or consent.
3. All messages sent to and from StewartM.com or Ebay user albert41s9 through the Ebay messaging system are the property of StewartM.com and may be posted without prior notice or consent.
4. User requested personal auctions that go unpaid will result in blocking you as a user and require up front payment for future services. Once payment is made (including fees, and cleared), your block will be removed.
